Collaboration, composition & songwriting
Beyond events and teaching, I bring my piano, vocal and compositional skills to a variety of creative projects.
My conservatory-level training combined with experience across multiple performance mediums and genres of music has given me a strong foundation from which to adapt to projects of all kinds.
I work on music for theatre and other interdisciplinary collaborations — including background scoring, arrangements and musical direction.
In addition, I write bespoke compositions, with particular emphases on piano solo, vocal/piano and choral work — as well as my own original songs.
Theatre & Collaborative Projects
Previous musical direction, keys and rehearsal pianist experience includes productions of Chess, A New Brain, Rent, Little Shop of Horrors, Heathers and Urinetown: The Musical, accompaniment for auditions and concerts, and repertoire coaching for performers.
Background scoring and arrangements for theatre include the original production of Ellie and the Star, the revues Mousing Around and Imagine Nation Cabaret, and the short-form cabaret pieces The Mezzo Mixtape and More to the Story.
My approach combines a technical foundation in music with an in depth understanding of emotional arcs and narrative. I have often collaborated on projects in multiple roles, including as an actor-musician.
Custom Compositions
I compose original music for various mediums, with specialisations in piano solo, vocal/piano and choral works.
Prior recognition for my work includes the NZCF National Choral Composition Award for Neverending and National Finalist in The Trusts’ Young Composers Competition for Journey of Dreams.

Original Work
As a singer-songwriter, I write piano-driven acoustic songs with a strong storytelling focus, combining pop and theatrical genres. Previous work in development includes the solo show The Bubble Bursters. Check back soon for the latest recordings!
