About
Hi, I’m Lauren Carey Kevin — a pianist and vocalist based in Sydney. I teach piano and voice, write original music, and perform for events throughout Sydney and New South Wales. Whether you're after live music for your event, considering music lessons, or keen to collaborate on a creative project — welcome!
Following training at the Conservatorium of Music in Melbourne (Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance - First Class Honours), I have pursued my love of piano and vocal music across multiple genres. I have a passion for composing and arranging, and particularly enjoy working on interdisciplinary projects such as theatre.
Whatever the context, what matters most to me is creating music that brings people together and helping to grow musicians of all ages who love music for life.

Conservatory trained, my awards for piano performance have included the Una Bourne Scholarship and the Rosemary Kenny Prize.

I teach people of all ages — from 9 years through to adults — to become independent pianists who can understand music on their own, with the competency to express themselves freely.
You’ll learn a foundational technique that transfers across all the genres you want to play — classical, pop, musical theatre, film scores and more. With 15 + years of experience, I readily adapt to your personality and goals.
In-home piano lessons are available from daytime to evening, Monday to Friday in inner Sydney: Sydney CBD, Glebe, Balmain, Rozelle, Drummoyne, North Sydney and surrounding suburbs.
Studio lessons for adults are available in Sydney CBD from daytime to evening, Monday to Saturday.
Voice lessons are currently available as an add-on for ongoing piano students only.
