Actor-musician & theatre work
As a performer, I bring together my professional training and experience as a musician (pianist and vocalist) with skills in acting and movement to create and perform at the intersection of music and storytelling.
I've performed across a range of theatrical contexts as an actor and actor-musician — often taking on creative roles within the same show such as musical direction, arrangements and scoring — from Australia to New Zealand to the UK. I am currently based in Sydney.
Stage Work
I have a particular love of original theatre. Previous experience in new work includes Ellie in the award-winning play Ellie and the Star (actor / MD / scoring), the lead role of Cera in DinoRock (actor-musician), Tweedledee in Wonderland: An Original Musical (actor / vocal captain) and Alice in the period musical Voices from the Front.
Original revue productions include Stella in Imagine Nation Cabaret (actor-musician / arrangements), the Disney singalong concert Mousing Around (actor-musician / MD / arrangements) and the short-form fringe pieces The Mezzo Mixtape (actor-musician / arrangements) and More to the Story (actor-musician / arrangements).
Other performances include the touring pantomime Aladdin (multi-role) and the role of Candy aboard the North Pole Express.
Training & Experience
My acting and musical theatre training includes The Hub Studio in Australia, The Growing Studio and The Actors’ Temple in London and several online intensives with Lindsay Mendez and Ryan Scott Oliver’s Actor Therapy NYC, as well as workshops and masterclasses with industry professionals.
As part of my vocal training, I have worked with theatre specialists Tim Rosser, Michaela Betts and Jane Keller. I have extensive experience in ensemble singing, including five seasons with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra Chorus — performing in concerts such as The Lord of the Rings, Doctor Who and Tribute to the Songwriters.
My core movement and dance skills incorporate ballet, jazz and tap.
Creative Projects
Alongside performing, I am a passionate creator. My main focus is on songwriting that combines pop and theatrical genres.
Previous work in development includes The Bubble Bursters, a show that has seen two work in progress performances as part of the Solo Show Creation Labs with Haley McGee. I am always eager to collaborate on new work.
